These terms apply when you use the Propel Layer website (propellayer.io) or engage us to design or maintain a website. By requesting a free preview or hiring us, you agree to these terms.
Propel Layer designs, builds, and maintains websites for small businesses. On request, we create a free preview (a sample design of your site) at no cost and with no obligation to purchase.
The free preview is provided for your evaluation. It is a design sample only — it is not published to your domain, and we retain ownership of preview designs until a project is paid for. There is no obligation to proceed.
Prices are in U.S. dollars. We'll confirm the scope and any project-specific details in writing before you pay.
If the website we launch does not materially match the preview design you approved, we will correct it at no charge — or, if we can't, refund your website build fee in full. This guarantee covers the match between the approved preview and the launched site; requests must be made within 30 days of launch. It does not cover later change requests or specific business results.
Your domain is registered in your name and remains yours at all times. Once your website build is paid in full, the finished website is yours too. If you cancel the care plan, you keep your site — we will provide you with a complete copy of your site files and reasonable help transitioning to another host; from then on you are responsible for your own hosting and maintenance.
The care plan is month-to-month with no long-term contract. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period, by emailing hello@propellayer.io.
You agree to provide accurate information and any content (text, images, logos) you want on your site, and to confirm you have the rights to use that content. You are responsible for the lawful operation of your business and website.
We work hard to build fast, professional sites, but we don't guarantee specific business results, search rankings, or revenue. Services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Propel Layer's total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
